This hopping was truly a blessing. Both because I am usually lucky to remember my own name that early in the morning, and because I was struggling to both write and to form new ideas since having my daughter.
Once I knew my setting, the situations to place my characters in came easily...
In Private Passion, Plastic Surgeon Danica Crosby has suffered body issues the majority of her life. They are what urged her to start up the medical resort, and also are very near and dear to my own heart and body, in that I share Danica's physical condition.
Selecting the heroine's body issues in Private Fantasies was both the result of breast augmentation being one of the most commonly performed elective procedures for women and because I'd just quit breastfeeding and once the milk was gone, so were the bulk of my breasts--even those I had pre-baby. Auto Mechanic Logan Delaney is close to me in others ways as well, including her initially tomboy appearance and traits.
I had a wonderful time writing these stories and connecting with the characters at a truly gut level. I hope you find every bit as much enjoyment in reading about Danica, Logan, and their hunky heroes and quirky friends!
